Map Design

We're taking the Battle Royale (BR) style of map and flipping it into a vertical setting. Whereas a BR has an environmental element such as a storm that is driving players to keep moving inwards; we have an evolving slime that is driving players upwards!

Essentially where League of Legends is a game of "Tug-of-War", RIZE will be a game of "Snakes and Ladders".

Taking place in a large skyscraper-like sci-fi mining outpost with different zones, where the map allows players to split off into different corridors and rooms to farm creatures and evolve their Ascendant, with the map always forcing all-paths to a choke point, where teams are forced to face off in a chaotic battle in large rooms featuring a global objective.
