At Rambe Games creating iconic characters, worlds and lore is of significant importance to us. Sure, we're of course developing a genuinely fun game, but what takes a game from A tier to S-tier, is the personal impact it has on players and the cultural impact it has on a player base. This is why creating genuinely interesting stories and characters that people can love, hate or relate to in some way is something we're paying close attention to.
Recognising the inherent social power of memes, we pondered if we could build an expansive world upon a single meme that holds a special place in everyone's heart - Harambe.
Our story explores the question of "What if Harambe's DNA was used to spawn an entirely new species of intelligent gorilla?"
The answer? A gamer's ultimate fantasy.
